The Day the Music Died

I’m rather bummed about the news that the Cold War Kids have decided to go their separate ways. They were already one of my favorite bands and I, along with many others was greatly looking forward to a follow up to the masterful Robbers and Cowards. Today truly is a brutal day.

  1. i don’t know what to say, i wasnt bummed at all about Cold War Kids breaking up, however when I realized that it was an April Fools joke, i was really bummed, becuase of how poorly this joke was executed.

  2. Kyle, Cold War Kids are 8 jillion times the musicians you will EVER be!

  3. I enjoy the Cold War Kids a lot, but I do agree with Kyle about the execution of this joke. Putting “April Fools” at the end of the joke ruined it.

  4. well I’m sorry, I’m still learning blog humor assholes.

  5. Caleb, I’m going to have to say that if anyone was being an asshole it was you. I never even said the COld War Kids were bad I just said “i wasnt bummed at all about Cold War Kids breaking up,” and that was pretty harsh what you said there about them being 8 jillion times better than I’ll ever be. And Andy was just being the nice old Andy he is. You’re way outta line calling us assholes.

  6. wait for it. wait for it…
